FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
NEW YORK / SANTIAGO — June 18, 2026 ExCarta, an international strategic communications firm dedicated to helping leaders and organizations uncover their purpose and craft inspiring stories, officially launched today. With a global footprint spanning the Americas, Europe, and Asia, ExCarta arrives at a pivotal moment when the world’s most urgent challenges, from climate and conflict to industrial transformation, demand bold, clear, and human storytelling.
Operating under the rallying call “Own Your Story,” ExCarta works with mission-driven leaders, executives, and organizations to uncover what is hidden in plain sight, advancing innovative ideas and vital solutions that shape both today and tomorrow.
“There is a story only you can tell, and the world is waiting for it,” said Gabrielle Peterson, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of ExCarta. “We built ExCarta because we believe sound communication strategy is the bridge between vision and impact. Too often, the most important ideas of our time go unheard, not because they lack merit, but because they lack a narrative powerful enough to move people. Our job is to change that.”
A Firm Built for the Complex Stories That Matter
ExCarta specializes in campaigns, events, branding, and strategy projects that translate complexity into clarity. The firm’s approach is rooted in a simple conviction: no story is too technical, too nuanced, or too overlooked to be told compellingly.
ExCarta’s services include:
- Strategic communications and narrative development
- Brand strategy and identity
- Campaign design and execution
- Event strategy and production
- Thought leadership positioning for executives and institutions
“Every leader and every organization carries something distinct: a perspective, a purpose, a way of seeing the world that no one else can replicate,” said Francisco de la Cerda, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of ExCarta. “Our role is to help our clients find that essence and express it with clarity, creativity, and courage. When you own your story, you don’t just communicate—you connect, you lead, and you move people to act.”
Founders With Global Reach and Recognized Impact
Gabrielle Peterson, Co-Founder and Co-CEO, brings more than a decade of experience at the intersection of global diplomacy and corporate communications. As former Global Director of Communications at the International Copper Association, she led strategy across four continents and spearheaded Copper — The Pathway to Net Zero, the first-ever roadmap for a net-zero copper industry, tripling global media mentions of the concept. Her work has been recognized by the PRCA, ICCO, Hermes Creative, and the DotComm Platinum Awards, and she has been named Communications Professional of the Year at the Stevie International Business Awards and Thought Leader of the Year at the Women in Business Awards. Beyond the corporate world, Peterson founded the Climate Peace and Security Working Group within the official youth constituency of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, addressed the UN General Assembly on climate security, and contributed to the COP Declaration on Climate, Relief, Recovery and Peace—a framework that mobilized billions of dollars for fragile and conflict-affected regions. She is a twice-invited delegate to the Nobel Peace Summit and holds an MSc with Distinction from the University of Edinburgh, with doctoral research conducted at the University of Cambridge.
Francisco de la Cerda, Co-Founder and Co-CEO, brings more than a decade of experience leading communications strategy, leadership coaching, and cross-cultural storytelling across the Americas, Europe, and Asia. A seasoned communications executive, he has advised global corporations, mission-driven institutions, and high-profile leaders on how to translate complex ideas into compelling narratives that resonate across cultures and markets. His expertise spans leadership coaching, brand messaging, campaign development, executive positioning, and the design of large-scale international events that connect audiences to purpose. Recognized for his ability to bridge creative vision with strategic discipline, de la Cerda has guided organizations through critical inflection points—from rebrands to global thought leadership campaigns. Bilingual and having managed teams spanning 4 continents, he brings a distinctive global perspective shaped by work across Latin America, North America, Europe, and Asia, and a deep belief that authentic storytelling is the most powerful tool leaders have to drive change.
A Global Firm With a Clear Invitation
From Santiago to London, New York and Shanghai, ExCarta partners with clients across sectors and geographies. The firm’s founding philosophy is captured in its invitation to clients and the wider world:
“Step into the light. Dare to go off the map. Create your own path. Do what only you can do.”
“Whether you’re an executive, an institution, or an innovator with a vital solution, your story deserves to be told with precision and power,” Peterson added. “At ExCarta, we help you own it.”
